[October 4, 2004] Just want to give a HUGE thanks to everyone that came out to the Arnada Friday night!!! The show was seriously one of the best times we've ever had on stage......and a special thanks for the epic "happy birthday" chant for Adam (and all the b-day drinks....ha!! I didn't have to spend a dime!!) Major props also go out to Spencer (who put the whole shit together) and Heir to the Throne; and Downrite Walnut....you guys all rule!!! Make sure you make it down to Satyricon on Oct. 15th to see us with Krossface....this venue is the shit and we promise to put on a damn good metal show!!!.............would you expect anything less? Show starts at 9:00 and we're probably playing first so get there early so you can get nice and loaded for Tallboy Shotgun.
Final mixing is underway for our upcoming cd. Adam is hard at work as we speak and we expect a finished product within the next month or so.....for real this time!!! This has been a long time coming for us and we hope that everyone who is remotely into us will pick up a copy (for only $10) and help support us and the budding pdx/vancouver rock scene. [September 30, 2004] The mighty Tallboy will be at the Arnada Cafe tomorrow night with Heir to the Throne and Downrite Walnut. This show's gonna kick some major ass....and....it's Adam's birthday so show up and buy him a drink dammitt!!! We're still trying to get everything on the site up to date so stay tuned as we add new pics and songs as soon as we're finished recording. Tallboy Shotgun's upcomming cd is slated for release in early Nov. and will be available through the website and at our shows. We will also be playing Satyricon on Fri. Oct. 15th with Krossface and others t.b.a. For anyone who has never been to Satyricon, this is an excellent venue to see a rock show in and we hope to see everyone out there to get nutty with us!!! [September 13, 2004] We will be playing this Saturday (18th) at Water Works Park by clark college with about six other bands. This is going to be an awesome outdoor event! There will be food and skating too. I think we will play at about 9:00 or so, but the show is going to be going on very early in the day, so show up, get some food, and see all the other bands. We also have a show on October 1st at the Arnada with our freind Spencer's band Heir To The Throne. This is going to be one of the bigger shows at the Arnada. Show up and help be part of the crowd! Last but not least, we hope to re-work the web site, add new pics, and clean up all these news updates with the help of our good web master Loren very soon! Excessive Moderation was with us on Thursday at Bliss, which is now called Bobby Maggee's. We opened the Conan's show on Friday with A Bombin' Nation, A Fellow Betrayed, and M.R.P. who were all awesome. Saturday at the Portsmouth with Evil Egg and A Bombin' Nation again ( Thanks for driving Cracker!) They all kicked ass and kicked our ass! We will be resuming recording pretty quick, and as of right now we have no shows schedulled, but that can change by the end of any givin week, so we will let ya'll know. Keep it real B. [March 24, 2004] Hey all--- we've squizzed another show in between the 25th and the 27th. We will be playing at Conan's Pub on Friday the 26th and we need all the peeps to show up. If you can only make one of these shows, make the Conan's show!!! A Bombin' Nation invited us to play with them and A Fellow Betrayed. This will be a VERY good show! A Bombin' Nation is sounding better than ever, and have added Ethan Batman on lead guitar. Bring who you can and come out for a kick ass Friday night rock show! Aside from our shows, we secured a spot on the Shadows Fall compilation C.D. along with Stonecreep and Psilocybin! Yes, we are still alive.....although we've been trapped in the basement for the last few weeks putting together the tracks for the new CD. We've dealt with some problems, but everything's moving along smoothly now and we'll be releasing a 2 or 3 song sampler by the 28th of Feb. And, conveniently enough, we'll be playing a show that night at the ICM club in Portland with Shifft, Mindcell, and Kicking Fate. And as of last night, we've been added to the bill for another Roseland show happening on Sat. Feb, 7th. We sold alot of tickets to the last one...but there was also a shitload of our posse that wasn't there and you guys know who you are!!! This time hopefully there won't be snow to use as an excuse. [December 19, 2003] Kick ass show at Bliss last night! Thank's to Sarah for getting us the gig. We got another one tonight at the Arnada with the infamous STONECREEP! We love playing with those guys so it's sure to be a good show. Their new stuff kicks my ass and it will kick yours as well! We will be unvailing about three new songs in the next couple of weeks, and we will be in Seattle tomorrow for the loft party. As of right now I believe that our next show will be at the Arnada Cafe on the 15 of November, and I think I am delirious from no sleep.
